There will be plenty of pictures coming, but last night we had Hailey & Maddie get together to play & they had a BLAST together on their toy airplanes.  Here is a video of it:

So the other day Maddie was talking to Mommy & asked her “Mommy, why did Mr Mountain steal from the people?”  Obviously Summer was a little confused as to what she was talking about, so she had to think about it.  After much thinking, she remembered that we had just shown Maddie the classic movie, The Music Man – in which professor Harold Hill bamboozles the folks of River City Ioway.  It is amazing how Maddie picks up on things that we don’t even explain to her – of course, by Mr Mountain she meant Mr Hill.  So cute!  (at least to us)

Caleb just turned 6 months old. It is insane how fast these few months have gone. He had his well baby check up and is growing so much! =) Here’s his stats: 19.4lbs (75th %) 28 1/4in (90th%). Maddie’s 6 months stats were-23lbs & 28 1/2 inch. Wild! =)

Today was a great day of being reminded how blessed I am to be a mommy. I have two healthy and beautiful little kiddos. I have a wonderful hard working husband that makes sure that I can stay home with these precious children to care for and train them. I am blessed.

I know that Mother’s Day comes once a year to show our mom how thankful we are to them. As a mommy now myself, I am beginning to realize that Mother’s Day is a day that I am reminded of God’s grace in my life and for the sweet little blessings He has entrusted to me. It is a day that reminds me to look at my life and my mothering and see what needs to change, how I can be more purposeful and align my heart and mind for my kids with what the bible says. Most importantly, praying for their salvation.
