Today is Madison’s 3rd birthday! We have been celebrating since the beginning of December when we had her birthday party with some of her close friends. We try to separate her birthday from Christmas hence the month long celebration… We were blessed by Maddie’s old Sunday School room teachers yesterday. They are a great husband and wife Sunday School Duo who Maddie adores. They gave us tickets to Disneyland. We surprised Maddie by not telling her anything-just letting her figure out where we were as we pulled into the park. It was such a great day-Maddie really enjoyed herself in new ways at the “Happiest Place on Earth”. When we asked her what her favorite thing that she did yesterday was, she responded…”Ummm, the carousel and seeing Bert”…(from Mary Poppins). Yesterday was technically Maddie’s third Christmas as we celebrated her first after her b-day (the 28th), but this is the first year that she can really enjoy everything. She had so much fun opening presents (although patience is obviously NOT her middle name at these big events). We had Christmas over at Grandpa Steven & Grandma Teri’s on Christmas Eve, then we had Christmas at our house with Rusty’s family on Christmas day. There is nothing more fun for Daddy than everyone getting these wonderful gifts for Maddie — even when some of them require “some assembly”. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Hello everyone – we wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!  We celebrate Jesus’ birth & enjoy the time together with family!  Maddie wanted to tell everyone Merry Christmas, so we used mommy’s new digital camera with recording (we were quite surprised by the quality!):
