Sorry that it has taken SO long to post anything new about my hubby, but no news is…NO NEWS! We have been waiting to hear back from Rusty’s new cardiologist after he reviewed Rusty’s old echo-cardiograms to see how we needed to proceed. I just got a call yesterday afternoon from one of the nurses saying that his doctor would like to see him back in FOUR months! If you are puzzled, so are we. I asked to have the doctor call us so that we can personally speak with him. We would like to know what his analysis of Rusty’s current echo compared to the old ones is, as well as why he concluded Rusty went into A-fib in the first place. We are resting in God’s plan for us and look forward to getting these as well as other questions answered.

On a lighter note, Maddie is doing well. She had her 2-year routine check-up this past Monday and of course is off the charts on EVERYTHING! Way to go girlie! Her doctor said that she is the size of a 3year old as well as talks like one too. I told him that is because all he had to do was mention Disneyland and she’d talk his ear off. Maddie is becoming more and more creative with playing-she pretends to call Mickey and Minnie Mouse all the time and have long conversations with them. She also pretends to go to Texas (where Grandma Rosalie lives). Maddie gets her “purse” and the says, “Mama, I leave now, I go a-Texas, bye”. Does she know how she breaks her mother’s heart!?!? Rusty here – I have had a lot of people ask me what my company does.  One of our patient’s & devices was aired on the Today Show.  This is the video from MSNBC’s website.  I just thought it would be a good way to show people what my company does:

It was my Grandma’s birthday as well as my Aunt Katie’s this past Monday. To help celebrate, Grandma and Grandpa took me and mommy to Disneyland. Daddy is still needing to rest, so he didn’t come this time. As you can see from the pictures, we had a GREAT time!-Especially when I got to see Mickey Mouse again. ENJOY!

Last night I made a Rachel rey recipe (from the magazine subscription my sis-in law got me for Christmas) of Manicotti. It called for home-made “crepes”. It was super yummy. I thought it would be fun to make some crepes for b-fast this morning. Here’s a pic of them as well as Maddie enjoying them. There’s also a picture of Maddie and Daddy that I took yesterday afternoon when he got home from work. Thank you all for continuing to keep our family in your prayers. We are still waiting for his old echos to arrive so that his new doctor can assess the changes to his heart and go from there. I think between waiting for this and waiting for God’s timing with adding another little one to our family, HE might be teaching us a little about patience. I hope we ae learning our lessons! ENJOY!
