Clever Disobedience

Daddy here making a post.  (while laughing) For those of you that haven’t been to our house recently, we have put down a blue piece of tape on the kitchen floor to show Madison the area of the kitchen that she should not go in.  (where the stove & other dangerous stuff is)  Every time she crosses it, we reprimand her & she knows that she isn’t to cross that line.  Well, tonight she came up with the genius idea that she can move the tape in one corner so that she can get by!!   I know it’s not good to laugh, but hey, somtimes you can’t help it!

Colorado, Here I Come!

The three of us went to Colorado last weekend to visit family. It snowed the night before we got there but most of it was already melted by the time we arrived. That didn’t stop mommy from finding enough for Maddie to have a true “snow experience”! We had a great time as you will find through the pictures! Mommy is pretty upset that her favorite restaraunt, Tokyo Joe’s, is only located in Colorado. Another reason to relocate??… =o)

This is a picture of our first day in Colorado. It was quite chilly-a whopping 45 deg. I believe. A few of us went to the Denver Christian High School’s soccer game. We had a blast! In this pic Maddie is watching the game as she is hanging on the fence. Too cute!

“…Here you go, Mama. I found a leaf I want you to have…”

For those who don’t know, Maddie is very unsure of grass. She has grass at the local park in our community, but she just doesn’t know what to do with it. All that to say, she literally would sit so still that I could take a bunch of pictures of her like this one. She didn’t want to move…because the grass could get her!?!?? What a cutie!

…”Mama, what is this stuff? And why is it so cold?…” This is Maddie experiencing snow. She wasn’t sure what to do with it either!

Rusty’s dad has 2 really great Golden Retriever dogs, Moe & Roxy (or as I call her, Curly). Maddie had bunches of fun playing with Roxy. Moe is too old to play, but is awesome.

Maddie’s cousin Hailey is a crack up and such a cutie! She let me photographer her as I saw that the lighting plus a cute face were just too much to resist. Hailey-we miss you and LOVE YOU!! Thanks for all the hugs and kisses that will last us til we see you again! =o)

Maddie afer playing in the fountain! The girls had a blast, as you can see! They also had a really funny screaming contest on the stairs. Not sure who started it…but it was too cute!

The three of us before we headed back home. Thanks for the fun time…we won’t forget it!

THE END…!

Monkeys Jumping On The Bed

kids21.jpgkids1.jpg

Every Wednesday I have the privilege of getting together with some moms for a time of encouragement and fellowship. The kids (5 all together & all under the age of 3!) have a blast playing together while the mommies talk. Here are two pictures of what a typical “play time” looks like for the kiddos. The picture in the bedroom is of 4 of the kiddos jumping on a toddler bed! =o) Great memories to last… =o)

Beach Day-Hoooray!!!

beach31.jpg

My good friend Claire and I, along with our kiddos went to Zuma beach today. It was a BEAUTIFUL day-nice and warm clear skies, the perfect California beach weather. Maddie had a blast jumping in the waves and getting wet. Jack (Maddie’s good friend) enjoyed crawling around in the sand and finding “buried treasure” also known as sea weed! =o) The two are a crack up. This is a day I will remember and cherish. Don’t worry Daddy…we still miss you tons! Hurry Home!!!

Love,

Your Girls

This picture is my favorite. Jack adds so much just sitting with his cute face there in the background. Maddie has such a sweet smile on her face in it too. The kids (and mommies) had such a great time enjoying God’s BEAUTIFUL creation-there’s nothing like it!
