The Page Crew

First tooth to come out! Daddy helped pull it out last night. We had a big celebration in the bathroom, and the tooth fairy came some time late last night. =) Rusty and I kept saying,”our baby lost her first tooth…how did that happen so fast?”

My baby just turned 5 last week. So crazy to think that it has been 5 years since Rusty and I were going to the hospital to have our sweet little bundle of joy. She is so precious. Maddie loves Tinkerbell and fairies. It’s her new “thing”. She loves to dress up and dance. She is growing in her reading and spelling and it is so fun to come across a note she has written. She is extremely outgoing and loves to meet new people. She loves to help out in the kitchen and enjoys helping around the house with laundry or cleaning. She just got a Razor scooter for Christmas and is getting pretty good at it. She has a love for Jesus and the Bible and is very serious about telling other about Him. She loves her brother and any child that we care for through fostercare. She doesn’t realize how tall and big she is now and asks Rusty and I to hold her often…I love it! =)I love you, Madison!

I haven’t taken much time to sit down and post recently. So much going on here…especially with the holidays, life seems to crank up a bit. I love it though. Christmas time just has a way of bringing me back to the gospel each day…it should be that way all year long!

We are all very good…fighting colds, but every reason to rejoice. We are coming upon some change in the Page Crew dynamics…at least we hope to. =) We are diving into the world of adoption-head first! We are working with our agency, Olive Crest, that led us through with our foster placement last February. We are on a list-The P.R.U. list, that will basically match us with a child or children (we are open to taking a sibling set!) who are in foster care and need a forever family. We are basically finishing up a few things this weekend and then will be waiting for the call.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we venture into the unkown and seek God’s hand in forming our family to what He has perfectly planned it to be. We are so excited to see all the unique details that God will orchestrate in all of this.
